The Field Representative II is responsible for servicing and repairing various company products and systems at customer locations within a specific geographic area. The role involves working in both standalone and networked environments, with potential for afterhours service, including early and late hours, as well as on-call duties.
Responsibilities:
Achieves expected productivity levels based on workload and experience.
Manages territory, inventory, and customer relationships.
Demonstrates technical proficiency and strong customer service skills.
Drives revenue opportunities such as supply leads, contract sales, network support contracts, and equipment assessments.
Performs diagnostics, installations, removals, and retrofits on assigned equipment.
Installs connected devices, sets up IP addresses, installs printer drivers, and trains customers.
Troubleshoots, repairs, or replaces components on various devices.
Completes technical training for new equipment.
Follows territory management and call handling procedures.
Collaborates with sales partners to drive equipment leads and upgrades.
Maintains accurate inventory management.
Completes administrative tasks on time.
Provides technical assistance to less experienced technicians.
Maintains a "car stock" inventory.
Performs additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Journeyman-level technical knowledge through technical school and 2+ years of related experience.
Valid state driver's license and minimum auto insurance coverage as extensive travel is required.
Completion of technical school or equivalent, with a focus on electro-mechanical devices, electrical circuitry, and electronics.
